In 1987 Ronald Hatfield attended a family reunion in Canton, Texas where over 250 Hatfield descendants were present. All of the Hatfields have seemed to have done well in life: doctors, school teachers, lawyers, ministers, merchants, nurses, con-artists and more.

It has been interesting how generations of values have been passed down from the beginnings of these families. At these reunions descendants reflect on great aunts, uncles, grandparents and cousins. We walk through life and our inspirations for our nieces, nephews and grandchildren carry on eternally....

Yours Truly,
Great Grandson of Mark Smith Hatfield and Clarinda Bruton,
Ronald Smith Hatfield (deceased)
