Hannah's father was Henry Armstrong, born 11-24-1716 in Baltimore, MD.
Henry's parents were John Armstrong and Rebecca Hicks.
They married August 26, 1714 in St. John's Church, Baltimore Co., MD

John Armstrong Jr. was born August 4-6, 1679 in Anne Arundel Co., MD
John Jr. died 1755 in Baltimore.
John's father was also John Armstrong, born about 1650 in Maryland (?).
John Sr.'s wife was Jane Boone (?).

St. John's Parrish: "The church founded in 1662 was Protestant Episcopal
and was also called Gunpowder Parrish and Copley Parrish.
It settled down as St. John's Church in 1815, in Kingsville, Baltimore co, Md."
Mansfield moved to Rockingham co, Va around 1780 where he left his children orphaned.
The reference story is in Volume 2 of Chalkley's 3 volume set on the Shenandoah Valley.
Volume 2 relates to the binding out of the 5 boys in the Rockingham co Court record Minute Books.

Marrage to MANSFIELD HATFIELD (#1) recorded in Maryland Marriages,
1634-1777 by Robert Barnes. Marriage recorded in St. John's Parish records,
Baltimore County, MD, copy in the files of SUZANNE WILBER.
Also christened in St. John's Parish. Date of birth from
